What is Traction and Decompression?
Spinal traction physiotherapy is a treatment, mechanical or manual, that stretches and decompresses vertebral joints. Most commonly used in the cervical and lumbar spine, but it can be used for the thoracic spine as well. More commonly known as the lower back or neck pain. What treatments do you have available?
Depending on the patient and condition, traction and spinal decompression treatment can be short therapy plan (a few weeks) or a maintenance treatment. Each session can last anywhere from 5 minutes, up to 25 minutes.
