Jim is a graduate of The Royal Canadian College of Massage Therapy and is in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. He has been working with athletes and active individuals for over 20 years.
In addition to being a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT), he is a Level 2 Fascial Stretch Therapist (FST2) and is trained in Chinese Massage Therapy (Tui Na). Jim employs manual therapy, stretch therapy, cupping, and corrective exercise to get you beyond whatever injury or instability may be challenging you. He believes that finding the cause of injury or dysfunction is the most effective path to resolving the problem.
As coach of The Canadian National K1 (Kickboxing) Team, he worked with professional and international level athletes on performance outcomes, injury management strategies, and training protocols.
Jim’s own competitive sports career has included Karate, Thai Boxing, running, and mountain biking. He is now hooked on mountain biking, weight lifting, and creating culinary masterpieces/disasters.
