Daniella Diniz Registered Physiotherapist

Daniella graduated from the University of Western Ontario’s physiotherapy program in 2001 where she was the recipient of the University Gold Medal Award in Physiotherapy. Prior to this she graduated with High Distinction from the University of Toronto in 1998 with an Honours Bachelor Of Science Degree in Biology & Forensic Sciences.

She is qualified to practice Acupuncture, the training for which she completed at McMaster University (Medical Acupuncture Program). She also completed a certification in Integrated Dry Needling in 2017. In terms of advancing her manual therapy skills, Daniella completed the Advanced Manual and Manipulative Therapy certification in 2015 and is currently a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy.

Daniella’s passion for continuing education has motivated her to offer clinical placements for physiotherapy students from the University of Toronto and McMaster University for the past 14 years. She is also an instructor for the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association where she assists physiotherapists further their orthopaedic and clinical reasoning skills.

Outside of the clinic, Daniella keeps herself busy at the rink with her daughter’s hockey team. She is the head trainer for the Grand River Mustangs Girls Hockey organization. You can often find her on the bench for games or running dryland training sessions for the girls.
